Job Title: Repair Shop Foreman
Reports to: Repair Shop Supervisor
Type of Position: Full-time
Job Summary:
The Repair Shop Foreman is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and logistical oversight of the Repair Shop operation. This role ensures efficient planning, team support, communication, and adherence to internal procedures under ACL Airshop’s Part-145 maintenance approval. The Repair Shop Foreman acts as the communication bridge between the Repair Shop and other operational teams — including the Yard — and supports the Supervisor in maintaining service quality, facility standards, and repair workflow logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and plan daily repair activities based on workload, deadlines, and available resources
- Monitor and support efficient workflow in the Repair Shop, ensuring operational targets are met
- Coordinate logistics between the Repair Shop and the Yard to minimize unnecessary movements and delays
- Ensure all deliveries and collections of ULDs are properly scheduled, documented, and aligned with operational capacity
- Oversee compliance with internal procedures, safety rules, and documentation standards (e.g., MOE, checklists)
- Ensure the cleanliness, order, and readiness of the repair facilities, including tools, equipment, and workspaces
- Monitor the condition and preventive maintenance of tools and infrastructure; escalate repair needs as necessary
- Track performance indicators related to output, quality, and lead times
- Act as the primary communication point between the Station Manager and the Repair Shop team
- Support the team by answering process-related questions, aligning priorities, and identifying process improvements
- Participate in daily planning with Yard and Station leadership to ensure alignment of resources and timelines
- Support inventory management by ensuring that tools, consumables, and parts are available when needed
- Perform any other related coordination or administrative duties to support continuous operation of the Repair Shop
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to coordinate people, workflows, and logistical priorities

- High sense of ownership for safety, cleanliness, and compliance
- Operational understanding of ULD repair processes (preferred)
- Accuracy in monitoring procedures, documentation, and facility readiness
- Collaborative and hands-on team attitude with a focus on service quality and efficiency
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the safe, efficient, and compliant functioning of the Repair Shop
Training and Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics or workshop coordination
- Familiarity with ULD handling, workshop environments, and maintenance workflows
- English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Valid forklift driving license (mandatory)
- Valid airport platform access pass (Schiphol or AMS) or eligibility to obtain one
- Driver’s license and ability to operate a van with trailer for ULD transport to and from airport facilities

Willingness to complete internal training on:
- Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and workshop SOPs
- EASA/FAA Part-145 process understanding
- Health, safety, and facility maintenance procedures
- ACL documentation and reporting tools
