Sales Manager Freight Forwarding – Benelux & Ruhr
Location: Based in Benelux | Covering Benelux + Ruhr area
Are you a born deal-maker with a strong freight forwarding network? Do you thrive on winning new business and building long-term client relationships? CF&S Netherlands is looking for a Sales Manager Freight Forwarding to take our business in the Benelux and Ruhr region to the next level.

CF&S Group is a European asset-based freight forwarder with a strong presence in Europe and Central Asia. We combine our own fleet, rail capacity, and project cargo expertise with flexible 3PL solutions. Our focus: road transport, container rail, sea freight, and high & heavy project cargo.
What You’ll Do
- Drive new business: 70% hunting / 30% maintain existing accounts
- Develop long-term relationships directly with shippers (importers/exporters), while leveraging forwarder partnerships where it makes sense
- Focus on industries such as machinery, equipment, and high-value goods
- Sell 3PL solutions combining road, sea, and rail
- Work independently in the field (high travel intensity), with inside sales and pricing support behind you
- Opportunity to build and lead your own sales team in the region
What You Bring
- 5–10 years of proven freight forwarding sales experience (sea freight and road cargo)
- Strong network in Benelux; Ruhr market knowledge is a plus
- Proven track record in generating new business
- Client portfolio to bring with you is a big advantage
- Fluent in Dutch and English (German is a plus)
- Background in a mid-sized or niche forwarder preferred – entrepreneurial, flexible mindset
