As an SAP Manufacturing Manager at Accenture, you’ll guide clients in redefining their production and plant operations using SAP S/4HANA and next-generation digital capabilities. From strategy through execution, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and sustainable manufacturing solutions for global clients.
In this role, you’ll coach and mentor teams, influence client stakeholders, and ensure that our solutions deliver long-term value. You’ll also help foster innovation across industries like automotive, life sciences, and consumer goods — making intelligent manufacturing a reality.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
Translate business goals into effective SAP Manufacturing solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.
Manage the delivery of end-to-end SAP Manufacturing implementations, including solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Build and manage detailed project plans, mitigating risks proactively and ensuring deliverables are met on time, on budget, and with high quality.
Ensure team activities are structured, documented, and aligned to scope and process standards.
Client Leadership & Innovation
Work with stakeholders to shape client-centric solutions that improve operational efficiency and production outcomes.
Identify opportunities to embed digital capabilities such as predictive maintenance, digital twins, MES integration, and IoT into SAP Manufacturing landscapes.
Ensure innovative thinking is embedded in your team's work and continuously create client value through novel approaches.
Collaboration & Team Development
Lead and mentor diverse, multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives and contributions.
Provide clear direction, context, and purpose to your teams—connecting project tasks to broader client goals.
Share knowledge through communities of practice, contribute to internal accelerators, and bring the best of Accenture to client engagements.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
Communicate complex ideas in a structured, accessible manner using clear visual formats and concise storytelling.
Guide discussions with clients, managing difficult conversations with discretion, and aligning multiple viewpoints to shared outcomes.
Ensure your team uses consistent, client-tailored messaging that reflects Accenture’s brand and standards.
Continuous Learning & Development
Role model continuous learning by staying updated on SAP innovations, industry trends, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Coach others to develop their own thinking and skills, helping them grow both technically and professionally.
Provide timely, specific feedback and support the career development of junior team members.
Your Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, or related fields.
Proven experience (8+ years) delivering SAP Manufacturing or Production Planning (SAP PP) solutions, ideally including S/4HANA.
Strong understanding of end-to-end shop floor processes (e.g., production execution, MRP, quality, maintenance, integration with MES).
Experience leading SAP implementation teams across global deployments.
Familiarity with industry-specific manufacturing models (e.g., discrete, process, repetitive) is a strong advantage.
Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch or other EU language skills are a plus.
Passion for innovation and a practical mindset for navigating complex client landscapes.
