As a Delivery Lead at Accenture Financial Services – Technology, specializing in Asset Management and Capital Markets, you will lead innovative digital and operational transformation projects for the world’s leading investment managers, pension funds, custodians, and institutional investors.
You will orchestrate complex change programs across the front, middle, and back office, involving emerging technologies such as cloud-native portfolio management platforms, ESG and alternative data integration, OMS/EMS modernization, and regulatory tech (e.g., DORA, SFDR, MiFID II). Your expertise will help clients navigate market shifts, regulatory complexity, and evolving investor expectations.

Your main responsibilities as a Delivery Lead at Accenture
Delivery
Plan, execute, and oversee large-scale delivery programs across investment lifecycle processes (e.g., trading, settlement, performance, compliance, and reporting).
Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with strategic outcomes, particularly in data-driven, regulatory, and technology-driven transformations.
Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks, especially those related to third-party platforms (e.g., BlackRock Aladdin, SimCorp, MarkitWire, DTCC).
Build and lead cross-functional, multi-geography teams with specialized skills in asset servicing, market data integration, or capital markets infrastructure.
Stakeholder alignment
Act as a strategic technology partner to asset managers, custodians, and institutional investors, aligning delivery with business goals (e.g., cost efficiency, risk mitigation, ESG transparency).
Build strong working relationships across investment, risk, operations, IT, and compliance departments.
Navigate multi-stakeholder environments, including regulators and vendor platforms (e.g., Murex, FlexTrade, Thinkfolio).
Communication
Lead communication across global stakeholders on progress, blockers, KPIs, and delivery value.
Translate complex technical roadmaps into business language relevant to portfolio managers, risk officers, and operational heads.
Negotiate and align delivery scope with clients and third parties (e.g., custodians, software vendors, data providers).
Leadership
Motivate and lead high-performing teams focused on financial services transformation, particularly in capital markets infrastructure and asset management operations.
Solve challenges in data governance, legacy system migration, performance attribution, or client reporting using structured analysis and innovative technology approaches.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and compliance-conscious delivery.
Furthermore
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, IT, or related fields.
5+ years of project management or delivery leadership experience in Asset Management, Wealth Management, Capital Markets, or Custodian Banking.
Deep understanding of investment lifecycle, market infrastructure, and industry platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, State Street, JPMorgan custody systems).
Experience delivering technology programs involving cloud adoption, data architecture, ESG integration, regulatory compliance, or OMS/EMS modernization.
Bonus points if you have
Hands-on experience with investment platforms such as SimCorp Dimension, Aladdin, Murex, Thinkfolio, FundConnect, or TriOptima.
Solid grasp of regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, SFDR, DORA, IORP II) and their impact on investment operations and data.
Background in quant, analytics, or data science within capital markets or institutional investing.
Strong understanding of post-trade operations, reconciliation, and reporting standards.
