European Senior Product Manager - Anaesthesia/Respiratory

Purpose
In this role, you will be responsible for maximising growth opportunities of the division, as well as developing sales and marketing strategies for the sales team. You will guide the product management team in driving growth by boosting sales in both existing and new markets, while consistently launching innovative solutions to enhance portfolio profitability. You will collaborate closely with key departments - including sales, marketing, suppliers, purchasing, operations, supply chain and finance - to ensure the best outcomes in delivering value to your customers
How can you help us?
- Strategic management of the anaesthesia/respiratory division: planning, organizing and controlling product categories
- To staff divisions with capable product managers by prompt onboarding and coaching, and lead and manage these pm teams as well as business support functions
- Lead cooperation with suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction and solving issues
- Manage all necessary tasks for sales and optimize profit
- Develop market assessments and launch plans for new products
- Work as a transversal team leader during the product development phase regarding product launch/change procedures
- Negotiate with suppliers with cooperation of the purchasing team to drive better raw material costing, lead procurement process to discover new suppliers and keep an updated cost database
- Collaborate closely with Anaesthesia/Respiratory divisions in the U.S as well as Asia Pac. to use Medline's size, strength and experience to the best advantage in Europe
- Benchmark competition (product portfolio, pricing, market share etc.) and support the sales team in formulating customer offers
- Develop training programs and marketing collaterals to support the sales team
- Work with account managers to understand customers' needs and the competitive landscape
- Report regularly on division performance and strategy
Are you a match?
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, life sciences, healthcare or a related field
- Minimum three years of experience in managing products across the lifecycles
- Background in the anaesthesia, ideally with hands-on experience in clinical, technical or commercial roles
- Proven experience in people management/team leading
- Fluent in English
- Able to travel frequently in Europe
