Position Overview:
Chubb is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support the Netherlands and Belgium markets. This role is critical in driving HR strategies that align with business objectives while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations. The Senior HRBP will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic guidance and operational support across all HR functions in the Region of Benelux. The goal for this role is to add value to the business and organization to be more efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership:
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals and drive business performance.
- Provide expert advice on workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Act as a change agent, supporting the implementation of organizational initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Employee Relations and Work Council Management:
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution of issues.
- Manage relationships with work councils in both the Netherlands and Belgium, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and fostering constructive dialogue.
- Provide guidance on collective labor agreements and other regulatory requirements specific to the Benelux region.
Operational and Administrative HR Support:
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with local employment laws.
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of HR administrative tasks, such as contract management, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Partner with the HR Manager Nordics to ensure alignment and consistency in HR practices across the region.
- Implementation of policies and processes in the region.
Talent Acquisition and Development:
- Support recruitment efforts to attract top talent in the Benelux region along with the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring alignment with Chubb’s culture and inclusion goals.
- Drive employee development initiatives, including training programs, performance management, and career development planning.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve employee engagement and retention.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a HR Business Partner, with a proven track record of strategic HR leadership.
- Previous experience working in the Netherlands and Belgium markets, with a strong understanding of local labor laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience managing work council relationships and navigating complex employee relations matters.
- Ability to balance strategic initiatives with operational and administrative tasks, ensuring seamless execution of HR functions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in English; fluency in Dutch and French is highly desirable.
