We are looking for a Supply Chain Solutions Expert to join our Liquid Logistics team in Rotterdam.
The ideal profile for this role is a proactive, solution-oriented individual with a strong background in logistics and supply chain management.

What you will be doing
The Supply Chain Solutions Expert provides strategic support to the group's Liquid Logistics Program, partnering with key accounts and commercial teams across the business. Reporting directly to the VP Liquid Logistics, this role requires a results-driven professional skilled in driving innovative ideas, solving complex logistics challenges, and implementing cutting-edge solutions like control towers and 4PL models.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the VP Liquid Logistics to develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with customer needs and corporate growth objectives.
- Drive and project manage large-scale projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget while meeting customer requirements.
- Collaborate with key accounts and act as a trusted advisor, encouraging co-creation of tailored liquid logistics solutions through a consultative approach.
- Implement technologies and strategies to improve supply chain performance and enable business growth (e.g., control towers and liquid logistics optimisation techniques).
- Organise workshops and events to foster cross-functional collaboration and innovation.
- Maintain professional reports and data documentation to evaluate and refine logistics strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in supply chain management or business logistics. Master's degree is a plus.
- 5–10 years of experience in providing supply chain solutions.
- Excellent project management skills with experience handling complex, multi-stakeholder programs/projects.
- Fluent in English, and strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills for handling multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
- Creative problem-solving abilities with knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement techniques.
- Experience in global or multinational environments is highly desirable.
