JBT Marel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Lead Inside Sales to join our customer care team based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This pivotal role combines hands-on operational responsibilities with strategic leadership to ensure spare parts excellence across our business.

As the Team Lead Inside Sales, you will guide a motivated team to ensure efficient order processing, accurate quotation management, and outstanding customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in improving processes, optimizing team performance, and enhancing the customer experience, while actively engaging in daily operations alongside your team.

Key responsibilities

Spare parts process and support

  • Manage and process customer orders using ERP systems such as JD Edwards and Salesforce.
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotations for spare parts inquiries.
  • Coordinate pricing with relevant stakeholders to ensure accuracy in quotations and orders.


Team leadership and development

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and operational support to the spare parts team.
  • Set performance objectives, assess competencies, and identify development opportunities.
  • Manage HR responsibilities for direct reports including salaries, bonuses, and succession planning.
  • Define and implement training goals to support professional growth and enhance team capabilities.


Process improvement and efficiency

  • Identify and drive process improvements to streamline operations and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct GAP analyses to evaluate existing tools and processes, recommending future solutions.
  • Ensure all operations comply with internal standards and industry regulations.


Collaboration and communication

  • Collaborate with sales and customer support teams to resolve customer queries and deliver solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between the Spare Parts team and other departments to facilitate information flow.
  • Generate operational reports and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.


Data management and technical guidance

  • Promote standardized use of tools and systems to enhance team efficiency.
  • Provide technical input for software and ERP development initiatives.
  • Support the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements across spare parts operations.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in spare parts management and operations, preferably in a technical or service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems; experience with JD Edwards and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
