Highlite International BV in Kerkrade is a manufacturer and distributor of lighting and sound equipment and all related products for the entertainment industry, architectural lighting, and commercial installations. As an internationally operating distributor of our own brands DAP, DMT, Infinity, Showtec, Showgear, Artecta and Wentex, we manage daily sales to our customers all over the world. Sales are conducted through various channels, including exclusive distributors, dealers, installation companies, and retailers. To strengthen our purchasing department, we are looking for a Purchasing Assistant.
Job description
As a Purchasing Assistant, you will create and process purchase orders in our ERP system. You will also check and process order confirmations in the ERP system. You will monitor delivery times and take action when issues arise. Additionally, you will handle warranty claims and repairs with suppliers. You will ensure that all data is accurately entered into our systems and that the Sales and Export departments are provided with the correct information. You will also prepare payments for purchase invoices and request quotations from existing suppliers. You will be the first point of contact for our sales department regarding delivery time inquiries and act as a liaison for our suppliers, both domestic and international.
Who we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
· You have completed a secondary vocational education (MBO) in logistics or administration, or have an equivalent working experience and thinking level.
· You are customer-oriented and know how to go the extra mile to support the customer.
· You have strong communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
· You are detail-oriented and work in an organised manner, following established procedures.
· You are solution-focused and able to set the right priorities.
· You have a good command of both Dutch and English. Knowledge of German and Mandarin is a plus.
· You are proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Slim4 is an advantage.
· A NEVI qualification is a plus.
