As an Account Executive (m/f/d) at Greenbone, you will play a key role in securing our customers' IT landscapes against external threats. You will be part of our international sales team but will be exclusively responsible for developing and expanding our presence in the Dutch market in a team of two Account Executives and one Presales Consultant based in The Netherlands.
In this role, you will work with prospects to address their most pressing IT security challenges, guiding them through their journey to enhanced security and compliance. Your success will come from your ability to listen, consult, and create tailored solutions that positively impact their business and reduce risk.
Your mission
- Utilize the extensive community of our open source vulnerability tool and convert prospects into customers
- Create and execute your territory plan for the Dutch market
- Proactively identify and acquire new customers through outbound sales efforts
- Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing deals
- Clearly articulate the value proposition of Greenbone’s solutions and products
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide the best solutions for customers
What you offer
- Experience being the "first person on the ground" and building up a new territory in The Netherlands for a software company
- IT Security background, ideally used to selling into Public Sector organizations
- Dutch and English full business proficiency is required

Your Application Process at Greenbone
1. Initial meeting with the Talent Acquisition Team (Duration: 30–45 minutes)
2. Interview with the Hiring Manager and Peer (Duration: approx. 60 minutes)
3. Final interview with Department Lead or C-Level (Duration: approx. 60 minutes)
The process may vary slightly depending on the position. For some technical roles, a case study is included between the second and third interview.
