Job Description:
We’re seeking a proven and strategic Principal Global Account Executive to drive revenue growth for our E-invoicing and Tax Compliance SaaS solutions. This role blends new business hunting and strategic account expansion within Mid-Market and Enterprise organizations across the EMEA region and beyond. You’ll represent technically advanced SaaS offerings that support organizations in meeting global compliance mandates, while partnering cross-functionally with Solutions Engineers, Marketing, and Consulting.
This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role for someone who thrives on selling complex solutions, navigating large buying groups, and influencing C-level decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue by identifying, developing, and closing net new business and expanding existing customer relationships within an assigned territory.
- Position and sell E-invoicing, Tax Compliance, and Transaction Tax SaaS solutions to a global customer base, including finance, tax, and procurement stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships with senior executives and decision-makers to understand their strategic goals and design tailored, value-driven proposals.
- Develop account plans and sales strategies to penetrate target accounts and regions.
- Manage complex sales cycles from discovery to closing, collaborating with pre-sales, consulting, and marketing teams.
- Respond to RFPs and partner with internal stakeholders to shape winning proposals and business cases.
- Stay informed on global tax compliance mandates (e.g., Continuous Transaction Controls - CTCs) and how our offerings align to these requirements.
- Represent the voice of the customer internally and maintain ongoing communication to strengthen customer engagement and retention.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in B2B software sales, with a track record of success in enterprise or strategic selling.
- Demonstrated expertise in E-invoicing, Transaction Tax, or Tax Compliance SaaS sales.
- Skilled in navigating complex buying processes and selling into matrixed organizations.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and strategic account management skills.
- Experience with AP/AR Automation, Procure-to-Pay, or Order-to-Cash SaaS is a plus.
- Ability to travel is needed to support client engagement and business development efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (or equivalent experience).
