Antenna and RF Engineer
Job Summary:
- You will be part of Business Line Advanced Chip Engineering building next-generation antenna and RF/mmW technologies for systems operating in X, W, and D bands and beyond.
- Responsible for the development and evaluation of prototype solutions and for bringing them to maturity that enables products.
- Member of a multidisciplinary team. Interfaces with other engineering teams across NXP on maturing the RF technologies. Gains exposure to the entire system development lifecycle.
- Author of the design-specific documentation for internal and external use.
Job Qualifications:
- Hands-on skills
- Skilled in RF and mmW antenna design and prototyping
- Fluent with Ansys HFSS
- Fluent with RF measurement and test methodologies
- Knowledge base
- Antenna and RF hardware designs around 8GHz, 60GHz, 79GHz, and 140GHz
- Metamaterial principle and applications
- Mm-Wave radar
- Mm-wave transceiver IC architectures, analog techniques
- Electromagnetics and RF theory
- IC packaging
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated research experience
- Strong communications, documentation, and presentation skills
- Highly self-motivated and enjoying solving difficult challenges
- Must be a recent graduate with a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
