Business Development Manager
Purpose of the Role
To accelerate Forbo Eurocol’s international growth by opening new regional markets via partnerships, reactivating former clients, and developing high-volume business opportunities with Key accounts and through collaboration and cross-selling within the Forbo Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement international growth strategies for floor and tile products.
- Identify, approach, and onboard new customers and distributors abroad, including the creation of partnership agreements.
- Reconnect with inactive or former clients and explore opportunities to renew business.
- Collaborate with Forbo Flooring to create joint offerings and cross-selling opportunities.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to guide decisions.
- Translate insights into commercial action plans and measurable outcomes.
- Represent Forbo Eurocol at key international trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings.
- Work closely with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure full alignment and strong go-to-market execution.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of international sales or business development experience.
- Experience in the construction, flooring, or building materials industry is preferred.
- Track record in opening new markets and winning new accounts.
- Experience with strategic partnerships or working in a matrix/international group setting is a plus.
