Job Details
We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead our global market expansion. You will identify new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and deliver tailored technical solutions. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and travel.
This role reports to the Sales & Marketing Director and works closely with the Managing Director.
Key Requirements
Several years of experience in International B2B sales, or business development
Strong market and competitor analysis skills (SWOT, USP)
Experience in creating and executing strategic business plans
Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills
Technical affinity and solution-based thinking
Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Fluent in English; other languages a plus
Willingness to travel internationally
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies with the Sales & Marketing Director
Identify new markets, products, and growth opportunities
Build and manage global client and agent relationships
Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and seminars
Translate client needs into tailored solutions and pricing proposals
Negotiate within set pricing and margin guidelines; escalate exceptions as needed
Work with Design and Procurement on technical specs and cost estimates
Ensure compliance with export laws and other regulations
Generate reports, forecasts, and maintain accurate sales records
Advise on agent contracts, commission rates, and partnership opportunities
Support international projects from initiation to delivery
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Proven track record in international business development or solution sales
