The Role: Regional Business Development Manager – Travel Retail
Are you ready to take the lead in growing brand presence across cruise lines, ferry operators, and the travel retail landscape? As Regional Business Development Manager – Travel Retail, you will be the key commercial contact for our retail partners and brand suppliers within a defined region.
This role is central to our continued growth, combining sales strategy, customer relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll work closely with supply chain, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution and profitable outcomes.
We are looking for someone entrepreneurial and structured, who understands the dynamics of retail in complex environments and is motivated to help brands thrive in this unique channel.
What Will You Do?
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships within the region.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to support our growth objectives.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market developments and identify commercial opportunities.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiation processes and close deals with a focus on win-win outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work intensively with marketing, product, and supply chain teams to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
- Performance Analysis: Utilize CRM systems to monitor customer data, identify trends, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
What Do You Bring?
- At least 3 years of experience in account management, business development, or commercial partnerships in travel retail, or cruise retail.
- A completed bachelor’s degree in Business, Commercial Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong commercial instinct.
- Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to navigate international environments, adapt quickly, and work across departments.
- Proactive and independent personality with a results-driven mindset.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
