Role Purpose
To identify, develop, and manage new and existing business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics, ensuring revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in freight forwarding (Air, Sea, and Land).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and partners.
- Support in preparing sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
- Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth handling of client requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Meet assigned sales targets and KPIs (volume, revenue, new clients).
- Maintain proper records of client interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
- Assist in resolving customer queries and ensuring high service quality.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or freight forwarding (preferred).
- Knowledge of international trade, freight rates, and shipping documentation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Fluency in English (Arabic or other languages is a plus).
