What you will do
As our Business Recruiter, you’ll take the lead in hiring for a range of roles across our Customer Support, Expert, Sales, and HQ teams. Your initial focus will be on building out our Customer Support team in Lisbon, where our hub has grown to over 100 people in the past year. As you settle into the role, you’ll gradually expand your scope to support other key functions (think Experts, Sales, HQ roles etc) in Lisbon, The Netherlands and across Europe.
You’ll work closely with hiring managers to define role needs, find the right candidates, and guide everyone through the process. You’ll take full ownership of your roles and build strong, trusted partnerships with stakeholders.
Alongside day-to-day recruitment, you’ll also contribute to projects that strengthen our employer brand, improve how we hire, and raise overall quality while collaborating with the (awesome!) talent team.
This is a fixed-term 7-month position, with possible extension depending on performance and business needs.
Who you are
You bring experience of hiring in fast-paced environments, and you’re comfortable flexing between high-volume recruitment (especially for Customer Support) and more targeted business roles. You also:
- Have a track record of partnering effectively with hiring managers and advising them to make strong hiring decisions.
- Have experience recruiting for Customer Support roles, ideally with exposure to volume ramp-ups, while also being confident hiring for roles in Sales, Expert, and other business functions.
- Are skilled in sourcing: you know your way around Boolean searches and are always exploring new tools, platforms, and communities to find the best candidates.
- Enjoy working in scale-up environments and thrive with ownership and autonomy.
The Catawiki Talent Management Team
We’re a collaborative, international team of 10 people with a combination of Recruiters, L&D, and Ops Specialists who work closely together on shared goals around hiring and retaining the right talent. Our team is based across the Netherlands, Portugal, and the UK. We’re big on supporting each other, learning together, and making time to have fun to - whether it’s through team socials, coffee chats, or our quarterly meetups.

This role is based in Lisbon. We work in a Hybrid setup with work from the office two days per week.

Our Offices and Way of Working
Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire and connect. Most Catawikians are within commuting distance of one of our offices and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model. This means we typically ask you to be in the office 2 out of 5 days, roughly 40% of your working time, to collaborate and connect with your colleagues. Of course, if the job description specifies that the role is 100% remote—such as for certain expert or sales positions—then that arrangement will apply.
