The purpose of the COO Tech domain is to: Increase transparency and control over which IT products and services are delivered and consumed throughout ING in a standardized manner, leading to faster, more cost-efficient, and increased usage of our growing technology platform.
The top structure of COO Tech consists of four subdepartments, with several teams operating under their leadership: 1) CTO Development & Support, 2) Change & Transformation, 3) Product & Service Management and 4) Reporting & Insights (CDO).
You will join the COO Tech Change and Transformation team, hierarchically reporting to the Expert Lead.
Key Responsibilities
As a Change Expert you manage high-priority programs which realize ING’s Tech strategy.
Set up and manage the right governance structures to ensure transparency, accountability, and decision-making at the appropriate levels.
Orchestrate and drive complex, cross-border change initiatives with energy, structure, and clarity across tribes, functions, business lines, and countries.
Identify, engage, and align key stakeholders from across the organization, bringing the right people together to drive program success.
Work effectively with senior stakeholders across diverse domains, managing their expectations and input with confidence and diplomacy.
Monitor progress proactively, ensuring alignment and timely delivery.
Maintain focus and momentum through excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
Operate in a dynamic, international environment where your work directly influences ING’s tech strategy.
Requirements
Experience:
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in global change initiatives is required, with a track record of successfully delivering complex programs in dynamic environments.
Excellent understanding of the tech landscape and global processes within ING
Knowledge of the ING technology environment and a strong network are a plus
Skills:
Excellent program management skills
Organizational sensitive with the ability to build trust with senior leadership
Proven ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership. Including demonstrated experience with ensuring ownership of deliverables as well as ensuring key decisions are timely made.
High resilience, the ability to deal with ambiguity and manage complexity
Proactive, can-do mentality, a positive mind-set
A naturally collaborative person, who listens and invests in others to achieve common goals and at the same time pushes, where needed, to achieve results
Excellent level of English, communication, and presentation skills
