Change Expert V (GJA level 18) - Expert Team COO
Organisational context
You are part of the COO Tech & Transformation organisation. You will be a member of one of the expert teams who report into the Head of Global Change & Transformation (C&T) Capabilities.
You will be working closely with change experts and consultants who work on assignments which are strategically most relevant for ING.
You will be part of the Expert Team COO. The team consists of 11 colleagues who deliver COO change initiatives with a global scope to ensure that ING delivers on its strategic objective and external commitments.
You will be part of an inclusive global community which develops the global practice and capability of all change practitioners within ING’s international network.
What you will do:
You successfully lead global programs throughout all phases of the life cycle: starting the change (idea/initiation), delivering the change and closing the change
You set-up of proper program governance and a clear roadmap with milestones
You continuously manage and monitor the program related risks
You report on progress within agreed timelines, ensure quality assurance, manage impediments, ensure insight in critical path as well as dependencies and ensure timely resolution of impediments
You ensure that the outcomes are embedded in business as usual
You actively share lessons learned as we want to be a learning organisation
What we are looking for:
A program manager with 10-15 years of experience (in lead roles) with delivery of global change initiatives (cross functions and cross countries) in the financial service industry.
Excellent command of English language (written and verbal) and ability to explain topics and issues in a highly succinct manner
Master’s degree and relevant certifications (e.g. MSP, Agile PgM)
Relevant experience in financial crime prevention, data management and analytics as well as experience with regulatory compliance programs.
A change professional who brings inspiration, positive energy and a can-do mentality and who is a recognised role model in Orange behaviours.
A good understanding of the legislative framework within which banks operate and the associated regulatory, supervisory and data management requirements.
High degree of resilience, organisational sensitivity, data fluency and cultural agility.
Ability to deal with ambiguity, a strong focus on results and collaboration
Strong skills in planning & alignment, senior stakeholder engagement (up to board and executive committee level) and effective communication (in a way that builds interest and commitment at the required level)
A global mindset and a track record in learning and growth
The motivation to coach colleagues on-the-job and take ownership for the development of the global change practice
