We are looking for an innovation specialist to join our R&D team. You will be responsible for providing technical support to our sales teams in Northern Europe in order to support business growth in the Culinary and Bakery applications. You will participate in the launch of two major innovative, nutritional and clean label ranges, launched less than two years ago for the bakery and culinary market. Your technical support will help to showcase these ingredients and assist customers in their use in order to develop sales.
Your main activities:
Reporting to the Bakery and culinary R&D Manager based in France, you will be responsible for :
Providing technical advice on our ingredients to the sales force and customers in Northern Europe and England
Conducting application tests in our laboratories (Netherlands and/or France)
Conducting application tests at customers' laboratories or factories
Preparing and presenting finished products containing our ingredients to customers
Participating in the development, characterization and promotion of new ingredients
Monitoring literature and competitors
You have a Master's degree or engineering degree in Agri-Food.
You have at least 8 years' experience in agri-food (production or R&D) in the field of meat substitutes or bakery products.
You have a good knowledge of ingredients and industrial processes in the agri-food industry.
You are fluent in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of French is an important asset and German would be a plus.
You are proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word and can quickly adapt to new software.
You are a good team player and in the same time you are able to work independently.
Your customer focus and ability to interact proactively with the different stakeholder provide you with a good track record of partnerships with your customer
You are motivated by frequent travel in Europe (at least 50% of the time).
