About Café Bica
Café Bica is the new concept by the Bam Boa Family, known for our vibrant spot on the Amstel. Opening in autumn 2025, Café Bica will combine specialty coffee, a small bakery and a simple but refined lunch menu in a welcoming and lively space.
The role
We are looking for a Lunch Chef to join our small and dedicated team. You will be responsible for preparing and serving fresh, high quality sandwiches and baked items, ensuring smooth daily service.
Your main responsibilities:
- Preparing mise en place for the daily lunch service.
- Baking and finishing sandwiches and bread rolls.
- Managing stock and placing orders where needed.
- Ensuring consistency, quality and food safety.
- Working efficiently in a small, collaborative team.
Who are you?
- You have experience as a cook or kitchen assistant, ideally in lunch or casual dining.
- You are organised, independent and reliable.
- You enjoy working in a small team and take pride in your work.
- You can communicate in English (Dutch is a plus).
- You are available to work 5 days a week, from 08:00 to 16:00.
