Experienced Expedition Specialist – Westzaan
We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Expedition Specialist to join our logistics team in Westzaan (1551 NK). In this role, you will be a key player in the outbound process, ensuring that shipments leave the warehouse accurately, efficiently, and on time. About the Role
As an Expedition Specialist, your primary responsibility is to manage and control the flow of outbound goods from the warehouse to the customer. You'll work closely with transport carriers, warehouse teams, and administrative staff to coordinate departures and resolve issues in real time.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily outbound shipments
- Prepare, check, and process transport documentation
- Ensure timely and correct loading of trucks
- Communicate with carriers and drivers for efficient pick-ups
- Monitor planning and adjust priorities as needed
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies in shipment execution
- Maintain records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Uphold safety and compliance regulations

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in an expedition or outbound logistics role
- Familiarity with WMS systems and transport planning tools
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Able to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Fluent in Dutch or English
