With immediate effect, the logistics department is looking for a:
Field Supply Chain Management Coordinator
(Maternity cover. Based in the Netherlands is required)
Main objectives
You are responsible for the quality and availability of supply chain management support to country programs and implementation of the MSF-OCA Supply Chain Vision and Strategy, related strategic goals and objectives.
Responsibilities and activities
You use your expert knowledge of supply chain management and experience with the special circumstances for OCA country programs, to derive and propose the desired ways of working for logistic operations in these programs. You align these guidelines with other sections. You support your team members by analysing and resolving specific issues.
You are a member of the logistics department leadership team and organise cross- functional/organisational collaborative interactions in teams and fora involved with the field supply chain management.
You align with the department’s functional strategies and pro-active follow-up with regard to transversal themes, allocation of team members to programs, issues and considerations. You provide leadership with regard to development and implementation of field supply policies, guidelines, training contents.
You guide the tailoring of standard ways of working to the particular circumstances in the countries of operation. You analyse and monitor the implementation of supply policies and procedures, and the impact and quality of supply support to our medical projects and propose relevant actions when needed.
You monitor and contribute to the development and optimal functioning of OCA Regional Supply Hubs.
You chair the OCA interdepartmental Supply Support Cell.
Candidate Profile
Higher vocational/ BSc/ MSc in your area of expertise (supply chain management)
5+ years of experience in field logistics within MSF (preference – OCA experience)
Group leadership and hands on managerial skills
Good and clear communication skills and fluency in English (speech and writing) are essential.
You furthermore are organized, service-oriented and result driven, next to a team player with initiative and good follow-up attitude.
Experience working in an international setting, fast-paced environment and working with multiple deadlines.

We Offer
The contract is offered based on 40 hours per week. The contract is for the duration of the maternity leave of the current position holder.
A gross monthly salary range between 4,875 and 6,711 euro. The exact salary depends on relevant work experience.
