Job Description
As Finance Manager, you are the connecting link between finance, operations, and strategy. You lead the finance team, are responsible for the complete financial administration of all entities, and actively contribute to shaping the future of KenzFigee. You are a generalist with a broad perspective: from payroll to software optimization, from team development to facility management. For this job, you will manage a team of ~5 employees and report to the CEO.
Your tasks include
Financial & Strategic
- Responsible for full financial administration, reporting, budgeting, and annual accounts for KenzFigee NL but also KenzFigee Ltd. (ensure consolidation, provide periodic financial overviews, oversee compliance with legal obligations, financial management including creditors, debtors, monitoring of liquidity position and cost trends etc).
- Develop and execute financial strategy and vision aligned with company goals.
- Analyse business deviations and unpredictability’s and provide advice.
- Model business scenarios and act as a sparring partner to the executive team.
- Identify risks and opportunities and translate them into concrete actions. Is eager to really understand the business, deviations and unexpectedness.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team (4/5 FTE).
- Create insight into team jobs, motivation, and collaboration.
- Foster a feedback culture and address performance when necessary.
- Actively contribute to training & development of team members.
Process & Software
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Maximize the use of existing software and contribute to future system choices.
- Monitor progress and quality of team deliverables.
Facility & Office Management
- Responsible for overseeing facility services and office operations.
- Coordinate facility requests, spending, and improvement initiative
Qualifications
- A completed HBO/WO degree in finance or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a financial role, including 3 years in a leadership position.
- Experience in a project-driven organization is essential.
- Knowledge of accounting software (Trimergo/AccountView is a plus).
- You are a generalist instead of a specialist. You also know something about Operations, Facilities, Payroll).
- You are driven, curious, stress-resistant, and hands-on.
- You take ownership and feel responsible of the financial health of the company and are able to analyse and advise
- You communicate clearly (in English and Dutch) and enjoy working closely with other departments in the organization
- Knowledge about UK offices and (financial) regulations
- For this position we are searching for someone who is available between 36-40 hours a week.
