As our Global Internal Communications Specialist, you will be the "spider in the web" – connecting people, departments, and platforms to make sure the right messages reach the right people at the right time.
You will ensure that every colleague, from HQ to store floors, feels in touch with our brand, inspired by our purpose, and empowered to contribute. You will play a critical role in building strong employee engagement through effective communication and activities/events.
Key Responsibilities
- Channel Management: Manage and develop content for internal communication channels (KEEPHUB, newsletters, emails) with a strong focus on accessibility and relevance for store staff. Bring a playful and engaging tone while staying consistent and clear.
- Content Creation: Write clear, compelling, and consistent messages—ranging from corporate updates and leadership messages to day-to-day operational info and engaging stories our teams.
- Engagement & Event organization: Plan and support internal events and campaigns (Town Halls, product launches, fun events) to build on our company culture. Create fun, interactive moments that build pride and responsibility for our shared journey and success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Be a communication specialist and align with HR, Operations and marketing to ensure information align with business goals and are effectively distributed across the organization.
- Employee Engagement: Roll out internal storytelling initiatives like EGC with a focus on our Employee Value Proposition, Products and Brand, making everyone feel seen, heard, and valued.
About You
- You have 3+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or a similar field.
- You are fluently in Dutch (speaking & writing).
- Experience working in a retail, service, or fast-paced multi-site environment is a strong plus.
- You’re a natural communicator—creative, concise, and confident in both written and verbal communication.
- You have experience managing communication platforms and tools (KEEPHUB, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Canva).
- You're a relationship-builder who’s in touch with diverse teams and thrives on collaboration.
- You're highly organized, responsible, and always bring a calm, can-do energy—even when juggling multiple projects.
- You are available to travel at least one day per week to our Almere HQ (Sterkenburg 3, Almere). You may work from home up to two days per week. On the remaining days, you can choose to work from either our Almere HQ or our Hilversum HQ (Koos Postemalaan 8)
