The Heineken Hoek, with its iconic beer glasses on the roof, was for decades the face of Leidseplein: a trusted place for both locals and visitors. In our brand-new building, the Heineken Hoek has returned in a completely modern way. Here, guests enjoy classic dishes, an extensive drinks menu, and a vibrant Grand Café. From breakfast until late at night: everyone is welcome.
Soon we will also open our Heineken Hoek Bistro on the first floor: an intimate venue where quality and hospitality go hand in hand.
We are looking for a:
Head Hostess Grand Café & Bistro (full-time or part-time, Tuesday to Saturday)
As Head Hostess, you are the first point of contact for our guests and the face of the Heineken Hoek. You make sure reservations and group bookings are well organized, while welcoming guests with style and personal attention. During service you are present on the floor, guiding guests to their tables and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable flow.
You combine hospitality with organizational skills: from managing the mailbox and handling reservations to coordinating small groups and hosting during the evening itself. You set the tone and help create memorable guest experiences.
Do you have what it takes?
· Excellent floor awareness and multitasking skills
· Guest-focused, energetic, and proactive
· Calm under pressure and solution-oriented
· Fluent in English
· Professional, reliable, and flexible
· Available to work during peak hours: evenings and nights – including weekends and holidays
