As the Channel Team lead Netherlands, you will join DLL at a pivotal moment to build up and lead the Channel team to support Rabobank in selling lease products to their national customers (Groot Zakelijk and Corporate Clients, working had in hand with RaboLease experts), as well structure large lease deals to international Rabobank customers (Wholesale). The team is a start up and will expand with the growing Lease portfolio. The Head of Channel is a member of the Benelux DLL management team.
As the Channel team lead you will be responsible for:
- Using your existing knowledge & experience you will be the lead and reference for structuring larger lease deals jointly for Rabobank Customers within DLL.
- Creating awareness and offer solutions to build/improve internal processes and governance framework with respect to large deal sized credit underwriting
- Build up and steer you team to participate and contribute value to the Rabobank dealteams with lease knowledge specifically related to the DLL product capabilities
- Define the annual KPI’s with the relevant commercial Rabobank departments
- Manage the Annual Plan process within DLL related to the direct sales business
- You are responsible for delivering the profitable annual growth targets from the team
- To create strong commercial customer strategies working closely with Rabobank
- Collaborate closely with all relevant departments like Credit, Compliance, Commercial, RaboLease, Wholesale, Sales support
- Signal commercial opportunities and be effective in mobilizing the relevant parties for execution
- Manage human resource development in collaboration with the DLL HRM department, engaging in recruitment, performance appraisals, pay reviews, and Learning & Development initiatives
- Play an active role on the DLL Benelux Management Team of which you are a member of
- Within DLL you will be the reference for furthering developing the direct strategy, and proposition
- Reviewing on a regular base the customer portofolio to remain compliant
In this role you will report into the General Manager of the Benelux DLL organization and will act as a sparring partner to the Rabobank Lease senior leadership.

Day to day:
- Build up the team and work closely with local, regional and corporate Credit Risk and Legal to support DLL and to improve internal processes and governance framework related to large ticket underwriting
- Steer the team to develop the commercial plans for the different customer segments jointly with Rabobank
- Support Rabobank Commercial teams with managing and achieving Lease Sales KPI’s
- Drive inititatives to increase Lease knowledge within Rabobank commercial areas
- Work hand in hand with Rabobank specialists for an integrated deal structering
- Build relationships and networks within Rabobank and DLL and its customers
- Build and lead by example a team of commercial specialists to build up and grow the portfolio in a profitable manner
- Manage the Senior Rabobank and DLL stakeholders, nationally and internationally

Essentials:
- Degree in Business Administration, General Management, Legal or Business Economics
- Extensive experience in structering large financial lease deals
- Proven track record in working effectively together with Credit Risk and Legal
- >15 years of experience in the asset finance/ banking industry
- Relevant experience in a leadership role / MT role
- Extensive hands-on experience in working with larger (national and international) customers
- Proven ability to provide strategic vision and at the same time understand what is needed to create business value
- Can do mentality
- Enjoys building commercial teams and organizational capabilities related to large ticket underwriting
- Strong influencer with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of navigating effectively at all organizational levels
- Proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams, inspiring and elevating them
- Fluent in Dutch and business English (both spoken and written)
