Purpose of Role

Our products have a compelling story to tell, and EMEA Merchandising is the conduit that translates and delivers our story and product with integrity and impact across all sales channels.


Under Armour is seeking a Manager, Channel Merchandising to support our strategic partner JD Sports for the EMEA region. The Channel Merchant will be a key member of the merchandising function reporting into the Senior Merchandising Manager of Channel Merchandising for Wholesale. This position is responsible for the growth and development of the merchandising strategies in line with the long-term goals for the region. Core responsibilities include seasonal assortment building, translating business objectives and analysis into actions, and identifying future season opportunities.


The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator with strong collaboration skills, with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in merchandising. The individual will likely have experience in a well-regarded consumer products company, a professional / personal involvement with both apparel and footwear and is familiar with the EU and UK market dynamics, needs and trends. The individual will be expected to develop relationships and connections across multiple functions including sales, marketing, planning and product.


Your Impact

  • Lead the full Go-to-Market process with the support of the Senior Manager of Channel Merchandising for Wholesale.
  • Manage the end-to-end SMU product creation in partnership with global and regional teams, aligning exclusive assortments that are Brand right and consumer centric.
  • Deliver SMUs that seamlessly complement the inline assortment and elevate the overall consumer journey.
  • Connect product, brand, and sport moments to create authentic, powerful and consistent engagement with the target consumer throughout the season.
  • Establish a long-term vision of the assortment direction in collaboration with partners and the account to ensure future growth.
  • Present the assortment direction and how it supports EMEA’s long term strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work in collaboration with the POD across Commercial, Planning, Marketing and Product to build strong relationships to support the business throughout the season.
  • Own analyzing sales trends and competitive landscape to generate recommendations for strategic action to meet performance objectives and the right consumer expectations.
  • Leverage consumer insights to drive meaningful conversations with other partners and to identify incremental opportunities.
  • Think strategically and present ideas on how to continue to evolve and improve processes.

  • Ability to work in an international environment with a clear understanding of cultural differences.
  • Proven quantitative capabilities to assess data, identify trends, and define actions to drive results.
  • Ability to self-start and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to establish an independent view while effectively collaborating in decision-making forums.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • University degree
  • 6+ years of global merchandising and/or product management experience, preferably within the sports apparel, footwear or accessory industry

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.
  • Work Schedule: Starting in October, teammates are required to work on-site for 3 days per week. This will increase to 4 days per week beginning January 2026.
  • Travel: 20% of the year
