Position Title: Reservations Agent
Position Summary: The Reservations Agent is responsible for managing incoming reservation requests and related communications from guests, travel agencies, and affiliated referral networks via telephone, mail, social media platforms, or central reservation systems. The agent ensures accurate booking entry, maintains oversight of future room availability, and contributes to occupancy and revenue forecasting efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process individual and group reservation requests in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and effective resolution to guest inquiries and issues related to reservations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of vocational education (MBO level or equivalent).
- Minimum of three (3) years of verifiable experience in a comparable position within the hospitality industry or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
- Fluency in English, Dutch, and Papiamentu is required; proficiency in Spanish is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Proven capability to assess client and guest needs and provide suitable solutions in a professional manner.
- High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
