Job Summary:
An Industrial Sandblaster prepares metal surfaces by using high-pressure blasting equipment (grit, sand, or other abrasives). The goal is to clean, smooth, or roughen surfaces for further treatment such as painting, coating, or welding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate blasting equipment safely and efficiently (sand, grit, or shot blasting).
- Prepare workpieces (masking, protecting areas not to be blasted).
- Inspect surfaces before and after blasting to ensure correct profile/cleanliness.
- Perform routine maintenance on blasting equipment and booths.
- Follow safety protocols (PPE, ventilation, dust control).
- Work in confined spaces or at heights when required.
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in industrial sand/abrasive blasting.
- Knowledge of surface prep
