About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and curious Junior Data Scientist (Working Student). This is a pre-starter role, ideal for students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field, or for recent graduates still enrolled in a relevant program.
As a working student, you will gain hands-on experience in building tools for multi-agent AI systems, working with large datasets, and contributing to meaningful business outcomes. You’ll collaborate closely with experienced data scientists and participate in a supportive, flexible, and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of data tooling to address business challenges
- Use Python and SQL to extract, transform, clean, and analyze data
- Contribute to the design and implementation of multi-agent AI systems using Databricks
- Assist in building and deploying machine learning models on Microsoft Azure
- Participate in improving data science workflows and best practices
- Meet with the Hiring Manager weekly for a 4-hour collaborative working session
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
- Proficiency in SQL for working with large datasets
- Analytical mindset with a logical and problem-solving approach
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Fluency in English
- Able to work 20 hours per week, with at least one day onsite
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or project experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure tools
- Experience with data visualization tools
