The Role

As our Junior Garment Technologist, you will join our Product Team and take on a support role with responsibilities that include:

• Co-ordinate the Garment Technologists in managing fit sessions. This includes but is not limited to, steaming and measuring samples in preparation for fit sessions.
• Assist in creating and maintaining accurate tech packs and measurement specs.
• Communicate basic technical feedback to suppliers under guidance.
• Sample management including photo samples, campaign samples and archive samples.
• Support Garment Technologists in fabric testing.
• Maintain department specific reports including tracking the critical path ensuring milestones are achieved in a timely manner.
• Provide department specific reports as required.
• Problem-solving and pivoting in a fast paced business environment.
• Documenting processes and improvements to drive efficiency.

Our ideal candidate

To excel in this role, you should ideally possess:

• A Bachelor's qualification in fashion or similar.
• A minimum of 1-2 years full-time work experience in a similar role.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• A results driven mindset and the ability to work efficiently independently and within a team, while meeting deadlines.
• A desire to immerse yourself in the Moochi brand and grow with us.

Tools of the Trade

You will be working with various tools, and prior experience with the following is advantageous:

• Excel (preferably with intermediate skills)
• Ontempo: retail system software
• Adobe Corel Draw, Illustrator or the like
