Purpose of the Position:The Junior Repair Technician - Lithium Batteries is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining lithium-ion batteries to restore optimal functionality. The technician will work closely with the other members of the Battery repair team and follow an internal training program to become a battery expert. This role contributes to maintaining high technical standards and safety on the work floor.
Core Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Diagnosis and Repair:
- Diagnose and perform repairs on lithium-ion batteries to restore optimal functionality.
- Document diagnoses and repairs performed in the system.
- Maintenance and Testing:
- Perform routine maintenance and capacity testing to ensure battery systems' performance.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards during maintenance activities.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Report findings and progress to the Battery Engineer.
- Safety Standards:
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) while working.
- Identify potential safety risks and report them to the supervisor.
- Support and Training:
- Assist the Battery repair team in developing and implementing technical standards and best practices.
- Actively participate in training sessions and internal programs to continually improve technical knowledge and skills.
- Collaboration and Improvement:
- Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and efficiency within the repair department.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives for work processes and safety.
Job Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
- Preferably holds an MBO diploma (secondary vocational education) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline
- Prior experience in battery-related or electronics-related fields
- Strong interest in battery technology and/or hands-on experience in electronic repairs is considered an advantage
- Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
- Accuracy in documentation and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to strictly follow safety standards.

Employment Conditions:
- Working Hours: Full-time (38-40 hours per week)
- Contract Type: 7 months with a 1-month probation period, with the option for a 1-year extension.
