You are an experienced Logistics Coordinator who makes every effort to ensure that the job gets done. You are passionate about sending life science products. You like to work under high time pressure, take high responsibility and have a great eye for detail. You hold yourself and others accountable and you are very customer focused.
- You manage and coordinate all international shipments and document workflows.
- You maintain contact with customers (phone/email); keep them fully informed of the status of their shipments.
- You strictly follow the work procedures. You follow the delivery schedule, and you maintain contact with the partner network.
- You take care of invoicing, shipments, shipping costs etc.
- You do not mind rolling up your sleeves in the warehouse, to: o receive goods, inspection based on batch/lot#, temperature o place the boxes in storage and prepare it for shipment
What education and skills are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree or comparable in logistics management or a related field is preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in the Transport and Logistics sector in the lifescience industry.
- Experience in shipping lifescience products such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, samples.
- knowledge or experience with GDP, Dangerous Goods, is an advantage.
- Experience in a GMP/GDP facility is a preference.
- languages: English is required. Dutch, French or German is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- High degree of customer focus.
- Very accurate and detailed.
- Problem solver.
