The Curacao American Preparatory School is looking for 2 part-time Lunch Duty and Playground Supervisors for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year (August start date). Candidates MUST have worked previously with children, speak English well and be physically able to run around and work outside for the times required (10:30 am until 1:30 pm daily).
As this is a part-time role, we will only be considering applicants who are currently living in Curacao with permission to work and live on the island. Candidates must be comfortable working with a wide range of ages of children, as they will be responsible for managing the lunch and play sessions for students from 3 years of age to 18 years of age.
The job will involve being outside in our lunch and play areas supervising and facilitating the lunch and play sessions for all CAPS students between the hours of 10:30 am through 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday. You must feel comfortable enforcing the school rules, handling student discipline for students in pre-school through high school and dealing with minor injuries. You should also have a playful and relaxed attitude that contributes to a positive school environment that enables you to build good relationships with and for our students.
