About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned MDM Architect to lead the design and implementation of a robust Master Data Management (MDM) solution for a leading banking client. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in MDM frameworks, data modeling, and integration strategies, and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the solution is scalable, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design the overall architecture and framework for the MDM solution, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Define MDM data models, data flows, integration patterns, and migration strategies.
- Ensure the solution meets scalability, performance, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, data stewards, and business stakeholders to align MDM strategy with organizational goals.
- Guide and mentor technical teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Establish best practices for data quality, governance, and stewardship.
- Ensure long-term sustainability and maintainability of the MDM solution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an MDM Architect in large-scale enterprise environments, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere, Reltio, etc.).
- Expertise in data modeling, metadata management, and data governance.
- Experience with integration technologies (ETL, APIs, ESB) and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, BCBS 239).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred Certifications:
- Informatica MDM Certified Architect
- TOGAF or other enterprise architecture certifications
- Data Governance or Data Management certifications (e.g., DAMA)
