About the roleWe are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Digital Marketing Platform team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will create high-performing technical solutions that help us drive growth. You will take on initiatives at the domain and organisation level, making an impact across Engineering.
The DMP team’s mission is to enable marketing and commercial to drive growth by building, maintaining and simplifying the core platform for discounts and campaigns, focussing on making it self-service and efficient for them and ensuring everything is clear for customers and compliant with legal standards. #
The team is based in Amsterdam, with 3 remote contractors working on SEO and commercial tactical needs while the team addresses the platform enablers. The technology stack is a mix of .NET and Javascript/Typescript, with the ambition to standardise and simplify the estate whilst building scalable and versatile platform solutions.
How you embrace curiosity daily
- You develop and maintain tested, production-ready solutions, preferably using C# or Typescript.
- You help define and build solutions for our core platform for discounts and campaigns.
- You ensure everything is clear for customers and compliant with legal standards.
- You work closely with your technical and non-technical colleagues.
- You contribute to a tech stack that includes AWS core services, .NET, Typescript, and React.
- You explore new ideas to standardise and simplify our technical estate.

What you bring to the team
- You are proficient in programming, capable of developing and maintaining tested, production-ready solutions, preferably in C# or Typescript.
- You are familiar with cloud development.
- You have experience with version control systems, with a preference for GitHub.
- You can work independently and as part of a team.
- You have strong communication skills and collaborate well with others.
What sets you apart
- You have experience with web development, including CSS, HTML, and React.
- You have experience with API development, including Swagger, OpenAPI, and RESTful development.
- You have experience building production solutions on AWS.
