NL Mgr, Quality Assurance

Develops, implements, and maintains technical quality assurance and control systems and activities. Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products. Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations. Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

• Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.

• Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.

• Receives assignment in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).

• Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding or current business trends. Follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques or obtaining solutions.

• Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will add costs and may impact the short-term goals of the organization.

• Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers and/or functional peer group managers. Interaction normally involves matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.

• Manages the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing. May manage through subordinate supervisors, and is responsible to develop reporting managers.

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent
• 8 years of related experience.
• 3 years management experience or supervisory equivalent
