Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Part‑Time Cook to join our kitchen team, specializing in breakfast and lunch service. If you have a passion for flavour innovation, craftsmanship, and delivering memorable culinary experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
Service Hours:
- Breakfast: Daily, 08:00 – 11:00
- Lunch: Thursday through Saturday, 11:30 – 15:00
Responsibilities
- Prepare and plate high-quality breakfast and lunch dishes according to our menu and standards
- Ensure smooth, efficient service during busy morning and early afternoon operations
- Maintain punctuality in opening service—staff should be ready before 08:00 daily
- Uphold stringent standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organization in the kitchen
- Collaborate with teammates to keep service areas well‑stocked and organized
- Embrace Fitz Roy's ethos of innovation, seasonality, and global inspiration in every dish
Requirements
- Proven cooking experience in breakfast/lunch environments, preferably in a high-quality or boutique hospitality setting
- A creative mindset, with appreciation for combining local ingredients with global culinary techniques
- Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and maintain composure during peak service
- Reliable, professional, and able to contribute positively to a team-oriented kitchen culture
- Flexibility and efficiency in a part-time schedule, with morning and midday availability as specified
