As the Privacy Coordinator Intern you will work within the Europe Operations team leading the first line of responsibility on all privacy related matters in The Netherlands to ensure DLL acts in compliance with data protection regulation, protecting sensitive customer data and maintaining the trust of our customers and partners.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern with a strong interest or foundational knowledge in privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to privacy operations within a dynamic international organization. You will support the Privacy Coordinator and broader Privacy team in embedding privacy principles across business functions.

Day to day:
- Supporting privacy-related audits and regulatory examinations.
- Promoting the group’s privacy vision and helping embed the Global Privacy Framework.
- Assisting in coordination of privacy programs and projects across teams.
- Helping maintain the Record of Processing Activities (ROPA) in OneTrust.
- Supporting incident response processes under the Global Data Breach Management Procedure.
- Assisting with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
- Helping manage Data Subject Requests (DSRs).
- Supporting compliant data sharing practices with external parties.
- Assisting in the review of data processing agreements with suppliers.
- Monitoring privacy legislation changes and supporting policy updates.
- Supporting records management activities in line with global policies.
- Assisting with privacy training and awareness initiatives.
- Supporting data transfer assessments and documentation.
- Responding to internal and external privacy-related queries.
- Collaborating with Risk and Information Security teams on compliance and remediation efforts.
- Helping integrate privacy and risk management practices into daily operations.
Measures:
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Law, Business, or a related field from an EU/UK institution.
- Interest or basic knowledge in privacy, information security, information management, or technology.
- Additional certifications in privacy or related areas are a plus but not required.

Compensations:
The internship will start in September 2025. You will receive an internship allowance of €350 - €500 gross per month, based on your educational level and 38 hours a week. If you work less, this amount will be prorated.
