We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our Imaging Team. Our Imaging Team plays a key role in delivering quantitative, high-content imaging data using cutting-edge technologies and patient-derived organoid platform.
In this role, you will play a vital part in increasing HUB capabilities in offering image-based solutions to the internal stakeholders and our customers.

Scope of position:
As Research Associate in the Imaging Team, you are responsible for design, execution, and analysis of high-content imaging assays using established and custom-engineered organoid models. You will work closely together with the R&D teams, Business Development and the Data Management Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in cell biology and fluorescence microscopy to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced CRO environment. You report directly to the Imaging Manager.
What will you do?
- Prepare samples for imaging studies, including organoid plating, staining, and fixation,
- Operate high-content imaging systems (e.g., ImageXpress, Operetta, or similar),
- Assist in image acquisition, data analysis, data management, and quantitative analysis using appropriate software (e.g., MetaXpress, Harmony, or similar),
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent data to clients or internal stakeholders in timely manner,
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, SOPs, in compliance with high quality standards,
- Pro-actively contribute to troubleshooting by proposing protocol optimizations, conducting technology evaluations to enhance efficiency and reduce recurring issues.
What will you bring?
- Bachelor (HLO) or Master (MSc) degree in Life Sciences, followed by 2+ years practical experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry,
- Proficiency in cell culture and basic molecular biology techniques; experience with organoid models is a big plus,
- Familiarity with fluorescence microscopy, high-content imaging platforms and image analysis,
- Energetic and problem-solving attitude,
- Advanced lab capabilities to enhance business growth and the achievement of commercial milestones,
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks,
- You thrive in a collaborative team environment and are committed to delivering quality results,
- Excellent communication skills (in English), both written and verbal.
