Your Role in Our Story:
In essence, your role involves
- Leading and managing the trading of biomethane quotas, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies to expand our impact.
- Providing expert insights and staying ahead of legal and market developments related to biomethane quotas and renewable energy.
- Maximizing revenue from biomethane trading by leveraging our existing network and spotting new market opportunities.
- Supporting the registration process with environmental authorities, facilitating seamless trading transactions.
- Collaborating closely with the trading team, aligning on strategy, and sharing valuable market intelligence.
Your Expertise:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes
- Fluency in both Italian/Portuguese and English.
- A Bachelor's/Master's, preferably in Business, Economics, or Finance;
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in emissions trading, renewable energy certificates, or related environmental commodities.
- Deep understanding of the Fuel Quality Directive (FQD) and biomethane quota regulations.
- Proven success in trading with a strong revenue generation track record.
- Exceptional analytical skills and comfort with complex regulatory details.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
