Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel
Job Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing professional legal advice to senior management, board members, and business units regarding the Company’s obligations, rights, risks, and privileges.

Reviewing supplier and customer agreements/contracts, especially related to logistics and customs clearance.

Managing the legal affairs of holding companies, including the establishment and dissolution of subsidiaries.

Collaborating with departments such as HR, Admin, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and others to ensure legal compliance in all projects.

Supporting internal teams to enforce corporate procedures and policies.

Monitoring and summarizing legislation relevant to the business, and communicating key updates.

Managing or supporting dispute resolution and litigation processes.

Assisting the Tax and Finance departments during audits or tax inspections.

Coordinating with external law firms for legal projects and litigation matters.

Translating legal documents and legislation when required.

Providing labor law support to the HR department, including procedures and compliance.

Delivering internal training on new and updated legislation.
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer in EU with minimum 3- 5 years post qualified experiences in reputable legal practices
- University Degree in Law (LLB/LLM)
- Good command of English (listening, speaking & writing) and Dutch
- A basic understanding of EU law and Strong knowledge of Dutch Civil Code, Company Law, Labor laws and relevant litigation experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and crisis management abilities.
- Highly organized, with the ability to work in a structured and autonomous manner.
- Confident in delivering legal presentations and internal training.
- Comfortable coordinating with external partners (e.g., law firms, regulators).
- Strong networking and influencing skills.
