Pearl Abyss - the company behind the highly acclaimed Black Desert franchise - is seeking a passionate and motivated Service Operations Intern for its European Publishing Office who has a keen interest in gaming and wants to gain practical experience in the industry.

You will be in a highly collaborative role, creative, and work with results-oriented teams – Live-ops, Community Management, and more to help them further grow and maintain the European player base across all platforms.
As an Service Operations Intern, you will also learn about continuously monitoring the game’s live service, handling day-to-day live operations tasks, collecting in-game issues and player feedback and engaging players by designing and executing in-game events.
You will join a dedicated team working across multiple communities, platforms and games Black Desert, and upcoming releases such as Crimson Desert, DokeV and PLAN 8.

Responsibilities:
- Effectively handle communication through various channels between our South Korean HQ and our European office’s stakeholders (PR, Live-Ops, Marketing, etc.)
- Translate internal documents. Specifically, translate content updates, plans, patch notes, community reports, and planning documents for marketing, public relations, marketing assets, and internal Slack or email communications.
- Take care of ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Other work includes local market research, monitoring in-game and community trends, etc.
Requirements
Requirements:
- You are currently studying towards your Bachelor’s or Master’s at a Dutch university in: Communication, Electronic and digital media communication, Broadcasting, Korean Language, Journalism, Public relations, Marketing Communication, or a related field
- You possess great interpersonal and communication skills and are a strong collaborator
- Native/bilingual in English and Korean
- Ability to multitask more than one project at the same time.
- You are an avid gamer or have a proven interest in the gaming industry
