Dometic is a global market leader in the mobile living industry. Millions of people around the world use Dometic products in outdoor, residential, and professional applications. We are on a growth journey – now looking for a Service Technician for supporting our Workshop Equipment sub-segment.
WAECO Germany WSE GmbH is a subsidiary of the Dometic Group AB from Sweden. WAECO is an established premium brand in the automotive segment with a strong brand DNA and is regarded as a technical and qualitative trendsetter and benchmark for the global A/C service and maintenance industry. WAECO has been a recognized market leader in this field for over 50 years and works closely with workshop customers and the automotive industry; and a leading provider of workshop equipment with a clear focus on innovative solutions in the field of automotive air conditioning technology.
The service technician takes care of the maintenance and repair of Waeco air conditioners at the customer's premises and provides advice. He also provides support in the helpdesk, planning, service administration and collaborates with the international service team.
· Maintenance and repair of all Waeco products mainly.
· Offer/sell service contracts, parts, upgrade kits and consumables during maintenance/repair visit
· Keeping customers up to date with new developments and advising them on them.
· During customer visit answering questions about product/device operation or offer training on the job.
· Participate in trade fairs and training
· Commissioning and instructing AirCon machines
· Support in the helpdesk, planning, service administration
· Interface between Head of Service Workshop Equipment and Field Service Technician
· The position requires travel mainly in the Benelux area.

A suitable background would be the following in terms of qualifications and experiences:
•Technical background is required
•Experience with heat pumps, air conditioning systems or fridges is a strong plus.
•High school education, preferably automotive, refrigeration technology, electrical or mechanical engineering
•Mastery of local language (Dutch) and basic knowledge of English are essential. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
