What You Can Expect :
- Clearing in and out of vessels
- Handling seaport dues
- Ordering nautical services
- Processing customs documentation
- Preparing and handling cargo documentation
- Drafting pro forma port costs and booking the final settlement
- Sending invoices to the customer
- Visiting vessels upon arrival and departure
- Arranging the supply of food and drinking water on board
- Maintaining contact with captains, terminals, other port authorities, and customs
- Communicating vessel positions, berths, and tugboat arrangements
- Reporting hazardous materials to the port authority
- Ensuring the operations department is kept informed
What You Bring:
- Preferably in possession of a diploma in logistics/shipping (STC);
- Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
- You are accurate, customer-oriented, and both an organizer and a coordinator;
- You have strong communication skills;
- Willing to work morning, evening, night, and weekend shifts according to the applicable schedule;
- In possession of a valid driver’s license (Category B).
