About the role:
As a Team Leader in our manufacturing departments, you will play a vital role in the production of high-tech complex solutions. You will be responsible for leading various teams, ensuring that the production runs smoothly. Your leadership will drive the team in terms of output, quality and continuous improvement. You will strategically assign the right people to the right positions, guaranteeing that our daily planning is consistently met.
What does the CAL department do?
The CAL department is where high-tech innovation comes to life. Using state-of-the-art machines, we place through-hole electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) both automatically and manually with incredible speed and precision.
After automatic and manual component placement, the PCBA boards move to the selective wave soldering machine, where all components are expertly soldered. Once soldering is complete, the boards are sent to the ATI machine to check the quality of the solder joints. Following this, each board undergoes a thorough manual inspection to ensure everything meets our high standards.
What makes the CAL department unique is that we design and create our own custom fixtures, and every PCBA board is tested after soldering to guarantee the highest quality.
Key responsibilities:
- Team leadership: inspiring and motivating a team to achieve production goals.
- Output of the manufacturing department: monitor production progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure production output meets the target.
- Daily Performance Management: Manage day-to-day execution within your department including reporting to management.
- Resource management: optimize resource allocation for personnel, machines and materials.
- Development of your team: Training and coaching including performance review evaluations. Conducting interviews for new employees in your team
- Quality assurance: understand the quality topics and how to improve the quality of the high complex products.
- Leader in 5S and continuous improvement on the production floor.
Profile
Minimum 4+ year of experience in a leading role in a manufacturing company.
MBO+ knowledge in Technical or Industrial Engineering through school or experience.
HR skills: output evaluation, cluster coaching and PDPs of staff.
Leadership skills: Clearly demonstrated abilities to inspire, influence and guide individuals or a team to achieve common goals while promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Daily Management interests (Performance Management).
Interest in improvement processes
Excellent English communication skills.
Willing to work in two shifts schedule: Morning shift 06:00 - 14:15/ Afternoon shift 14:15 – 23:00, on Fridays 14:15 – 20:30.
