You and your job

Our goal is to help entrepreneurs grow and we do this by offering our services where Rabobank customers want to do their business. Business platforms such as online marketplaces, accounting and CRM software are increasing and we see that these business platforms are the future. That is why, as Rabobank, we are fully committed to investing in our Acquiring services.

As a Teamlead Sales, you are the lead of our Business development team. This team includes several Business development Managers focusing on sales, cross-sell and go-to-market strategy execution for all of our payment solutions. You are responsible for achieving the revenue targets, as well as the employee wellbeing of the people in your team.

  • People leadership – responsible for quality and quantity of the team, making sure employees have sufficient knowledge and skills to work, are motivated and are satisfied.
  • Development and implementation of goals and policy - Keeping track of relevant developments, identifying challenges and translating them into goals or policy
  • Coordination of work - Agree relevant sales targets and other KPI's with team members and relevant stakeholders.

Top 3 responsibilities

  • Achieve new business and cross-sell targets as well as grow the existing merchant book.
  • Align and implement sales initiatives with the Rabobank internal business units with the aim of to achieve revenue growth (cross segment revenue).
  • Develop new business acquisition, cross sell and retention plans therefore taking full ownership of the sales performance of the team.

The 25 people in B2B Sales form part of the wider Commercial Products & Services function in the Business Clients domain. We work closely with other key internal partners to mutually support the execution of the various roadmaps and workstreams to deliver growth and best-in-class customer experiences. You and your talent

  • University degree preferably in Business, Economics, or related field (advantageous).
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in payments or digital products, including 5 years of B2B strategic and/or operational relationship management.
  • Previous financial services or fintech experience highly preferred.
  • Proven management capabilities.
  • Meticulous with an eye for data analysis.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to deliver results with minimal assistance is a must.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent English and Dutch language capability (both verbally and in writing).
