The Position
We are seeking a strategic and highly organized VP Product Strategy & Operations reporting to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), to work closely with the CPO and the product leadership team. This role will support and drive actions to reach our short and long term plans and the Product plan, by aligning strategic objectives with actionable roadmaps across the teams.
This cross-functional role is in equal parts strategic, operational and team leadership, serving as the link across business units and functions. From planning, design, product development and merchandising to marketing, supply chain and aligning with regional teams.
The VP Product Stragey & Operations will head up a central team with three key functions: Product Strategy, Process & Milestones (GTM) and Process & Data Enginieering.
Primary responsibilities/accountabilities of the job: include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Drive, monitor, and steer the PVH+ and Tommy Hilfiger vision with the CPO and Leadership Team. Translate strategic ambition into actionable roadmaps across the team and linking it to the financial reality, in collab with planning, finance and subplan owners.
- Strategy Implementation Oversight: Act as a trusted partner to foresee and flag deviations in strategy and Plan execution, recommend mitigation actions, and ensure 360° cross-functional alignment.
- Target Alignment & Prioritization: Provide ongoing support in prioritizing and translating strategic priorities into Brand, BU, and functional actions, ensuring departments operate in sync. through clear monitoring
- Strategic-Initiatives for Product: Owns and manages high-impact strategic projects to drive transformation and efficiency and help PLT to prioritize projects aligned with corporate goals.
- Cross-Functional Facilitation: Lead workshops, meetings, and collaborative sessions to drive clarity and consistency.
- Executive Management Support: Prepare and structure business reviews, presentations, and communications for the CPO - owning content for weekly, monthly, and quarterly milestone meetings.
- Operational Excellence & Process Innovation: Oversees operations, focusing on streamlining processes (i.e. refining operational workflows and enhancing data governance). Champion the evolution of key GTM processes, including calendar optimization, milestone adherence, and dependency management.
- Data and system Governance: Build a digitalization roadmap, shape product data flow from creation to final product in store and it’s connecting systems, and drive digital transformation. Ensure product data consistency and system enablement to support decision-making and transparency across brand and regions. Collaborate closely with Product, Supply and Technology teams to future-proof tools and capabilities.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess strategic organizational transformation skills and be able to work in a dynamic environment that requires the ability to influence without direct ownership. Problem solving, meeting facilitation, effective communication and quality control are essential elements of this role.
- 7-12 years of experience in product strategy, brand management, merchandising, or operations – ideally in fashion or consumer goods
- Proven experience working with C-suite executives in a global, matrixed organization
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into clear, actionable insights
- Strong background in performance tracking, product lifecycles, and operational execution
- Strong program and change management skills as well as leadership in project delivery for cross-functional initiatives with global and regional impact
- Expert Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
