Key Responsibilities
1\. Foundational Learning and Onboarding
- Participate in structured training covering end-to-end warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory, and equipment handling.
- Learn to operate and analyze key warehouse systems (e.g., WMS).
- Shadow and support daily operations in different teams (receiving, packing, dispatch, etc.).
- Use tools like Excel or basic analytics software to monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput efficiency, transit time, and exception rates.
- Identify bottlenecks and assist in process improvement initiatives (e.g., during peak season or handling surge volumes).
- Gain a basic understanding of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, racking systems, and fire safety infrastructure.
- Follow safety protocols and support emergency response procedures when needed.
- Coordinate with outbound teams, transportation providers, and customer service to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Provide clear communication within the team and across departments to align daily priorities and resolve operational issues.
- Maintain composure and structured problem-solving under high-pressure scenarios such as system downtimes, order backlogs, or equipment failures.
- Support contingency planning and real-time coordination during emergencies (e.g., fire, damaged goods, missing inventory).
- Take ownership of rotation tasks and contribute to continuous improvement projects (e.g., optimizing sorting flow or supporting cycle count accuracy).
- Show ambition and responsibility by proactively learning, sharing feedback, and aligning personal goals with company development.
Educational Background & Practical Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related fields.
- Prior internship or hands-on experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with WMS or other warehouse systems is preferred.
- Strong data handling skills (e.g., Excel, dashboards, or BI tools).
- Basic understanding of warehouse workflows and an interest in process improvement.
- Awareness of safety standards and warehouse equipment usage.
- Fast learner with adaptability across diverse roles and tasks.
- High stress tolerance and structured approach in high-volume or emergency situations.
- Strong team collaboration and effective communication skills.
- Customer-first mindset with a holistic view from fulfillment to end delivery.
